Description

The PROLENE™ Monofilament Suture, Blue, Size 2-0, 30", with CT-1 Taper Point Needle is a sterile, synthetic, nonabsorbable surgical suture made from polypropylene. Designed for general soft tissue approximation and ligation, it maintains indefinite tensile strength, providing permanent support in tissues where long-term integrity is critical. The suture's monofilament construction ensures smooth passage through tissue and minimizes tissue drag.

The CT-1 needle features a 1/2 circle taper point design, optimized for penetrating soft tissue without cutting. This design allows the needle to separate rather than sever tissue fibers, making it suitable for abdominal closures, cardiovascular procedures, and other general surgical applications.
